Sometimes when someone sends out an email to an emailinging group and ask people to RSVP.  When you click that “Reply” button, it automatically replies to the whole email group, and not the person who sent out the email that asked for the RSVP.  So everyone in the email group gets the RSVP or whatever the reply message was. 

When only the original sender needs to know your reply message, you should “Reply” to the original sender, instead of the whole email group.  You should be smart enough to change the address to the sender and not leave it as the email group. 

It is one of my pet-peeves that people reply to the whole email group.  It waste everyone’s time and flood people’s mailboxes. 

This should be a common email courtesy.  People, be smarter and more thoughtful.  It only takes a second.
